Abstract

A new first-order allpass filter configuration using a modified third-generation current conveyor is presented. In order to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed circuit, a very high-Q bandpass filter is designed using the proposed allpass sections. The main parameters of the resulting high-Q bandpass filter, i.e. the center frequency and pole-Q can be independently adjusted by changing the values of grounded resistors. SPICE simulation results verifying theoretical analyses are also included.
