Abstract
Habits shape one's response towards a certain impact. More specifically, they influence the way of interaction between product and user. This paper proposes a theoretical understanding by establishing link between habitual behaviors and the user-product interaction. In the context of this paper, mobility, which is a hot topic in today's societies, is chosen for the sample area. Therefore, this paper aims to develop a theory-based approach with the help of mobile devices as sample and explores the mobile devices within the light of literature on habits especially from sociology and psychology. The effects of habits on the user-product interaction -especially mobile devices- will be discussed after the related terms are introduced. Afterwards, the relationship between habits and user-product interaction as an incremental approach will be revealed with different examples.
