Abstract

The method of auxiliary sources is applied to solve problems of electromagnetic wave diffraction by finite 2D and 3D periodic metal-dielectric structures. The goal of this work is to get multiple resonance effects in such structures when these structures have complex materials properties. On the basis of the structures under study, 3D lattice with negative refractive index is modeled. The possibilities of designing antenna devices with a desired pattern, the rotating polarization and electronically operate the radiation direction are considered.
