Abstract
The electrocatalytic oxidation of glycerol has been investigated at palladium electrodes in alkaline medium by electrochemical and spectroscopic techniques. The kinetic parameters measured, together with other experimental data, allow us to suggest a mechanism. Diffusion is involved in the rate-determining step.
