Abstract
Adsorption of thiophene and 3-methyl thiophene were investigated on a smooth platinum electrode in 0.1M HClO4 aqueous medium as a function of monomer concentration , adsorption time and adsorption potential by potential programmed voltammetry. The adsorption kinetics and isotherms, mainly in connection with the number of electrons per occupied site (ne) and surface coverage rations (θ), were calculated and interpreted Plausible orientation models were proposed for adsorbed species.
