Abstract
The game, which has been a part of human life since the birth, has found itself a new form with technology and has started to appear as gamification applications in businesses. Gamification, which was originally intended for educational purposes, has served many different purposes over time, such as health, production, performance improvement and communication enhancement. The spread of the domain over a wide scale requires confirmation of the validity and effectiveness of these applications. This study analyses the effect of gamification activities carried out in an internationally operating air transport company on the individual performance of employees. In the study, the independent and mediated effect of the factors that make up gamification is observed using structural equation modelling.
