Abstract
This research was carried out by using the opinions of students’ parents and physical education teachers in order to determine the status of physical education activities broadcasted on EBA TV in our country during the coronavirus epidemic. In the study, the interwoven single state design of qualitative research methods was used. The data were collected using the interview form with semi-structured questions developed by the research team in accordance with the decisions taken during the epidemic system via the Google form system. The research data was collected through the interview form from 20 students’ parents and 10 physical education teachers who gave opinions about physical 6education education activity broadcasted on EBA TV in accordance with the maximum diversity sampling, which is one of the qualitative research sampling methods. The data in the interview forms collected via remote URL were processed by content analysis. As a result of the research, it is seen that the participants agree that physical education activities broadcasted on EBA TV prevent the immobility of students during the curfew period. It can be said that remote physical education is not mostly applied because it is not perceived as a lesson by the students. In addition, it is thought that the contents have been prepared inefficiently and that emphasizing the perception of the lesson on the students can increase the active participation in the lesson. Although not as before the epidemic, the result has been reached that remote physical education activities can also help students to get away from the stress of theoretical lessons, help to keep the interest in sports alive and contribute to the physical development of students when applied.
