Abstract
This paper addresses the application of multi-terminal components concept in the analysis of large-scale power systems. The new approach aims to obtain the coefficient matrix of the system as a block-diagonal-band matrix, instead of solving the whole matrix using a processor. To speed up the process, blocks representing the sub-networks are solved simultaneously via parallel processors.
