Abstract

Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) are a newer form of antidepressant drugs. SNRIs include desvenlafaxine, duloxetine, milnacipran, venlafaxine, and sibutramine. The present study covers the analytical research on SNRIs and their main metabolites, focusing on bioanalytical and pharmaceutical applications. These analytical methods are generally chromatographic, electroanalytical, spectrometric, and electrophoretic methods.
