Abstract
Data envelopment analysis is a method that enables performance evaluation and comparison in institutions, organizations and companies operating in both the service and production sectors. Thanks to this method, besides measuring and comparing the activities of different units, it is possible to find ways to make inefficient units efficient. The ability to use multiple inputs and outputs is one of the biggest advantages of this method. Within the scope of this study, a performance evaluation was made in order for the underwear company, which reached 62 stores in 5 years, to realize its mission and vision. The stores of the company in 3 different regions were evaluated on the basis of 3 inputs and 3 outputs. Afterwards, an efficiency calculation and comparison was made on a regional basis. In this way, the differences between the regions and the aspects that are open to development were also revealed. At the end of the method, evaluations were made on the basis of stores and regions, and the necessary conditions for inefficient units to be efficient were examined.
