Abstract

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the use of software applications to integrate technology in teaching engineering concepts to students. In control science, the design and implementation of discrete-time control systems (computer-controlled systems) is a crucial field. This work aims to develop a virtual education and virtual experiment interface for the Computer Controlled Systems course, which is one of the essential compulsory courses in the undergraduate Control and Automation Engineering programs utilizing MATLAB virtual laboratories development software tools. The virtual laboratory is based on two benchmark systems to enable design and analysis based on real-world systems within a virtual classroom setting.
