Abstract

The article reports on research which examined the effects of various processing conditions on the tensile and frictional properties of two-ply air-jet spun lyocel yarns produced by the assembly-winder concept. Lenzing lyocell fibers were used to study the effects of overfeed main draft and production speed. PLYfil 1000 was used to produce the plied lyocell yarns.
