Abstract

Metal borides are one of the subgroups of refractory hard materials and can be used in various applications, including the defense, nuclear industry, and high-temperature industries. SHS is one of the common production method for metal borides. With the use of the SHS method, metal boride powders can be obtained at nanoscale without grinding processes.
