Abstract

As software systems grow increasingly complex, the need for robust observability mechanisms becomes crucial. Bridging the concepts of productivity with software development models and processes presents significant challenges, often resulting in unclear connections and associations. While agile methodology is frequently lauded for its potential to enhance productivity, the relationship between productivity and observability in software development remains under-explored in the literature. This study addresses this gap by conducting a comprehensive bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database and Bibliometrix tool. The analysis reveals key trends, connections, and the current state of knowledge on the interplay between productivity and observability in software development, offering valuable insights for both practitioners and researchers.
