Abstract
The available energy potential of Refrigerant 134a is analyzed based on a new method, which does not include the entropy concept. After reviewing the determination of R134a properties, the method to reach the availability and the flow availability of this refrigerant has been developed. This method introduces a new approach for the available energy of the refrigerant at a given state.
