Abstract
A computational model has been established using the Spiking Neural Network model of the basal ganglia circuit, which plays an active role in cognitive processes such as decision making and movement selection. At this point, we aim to have an idea about cellular and group-based processes. The Izhikevich neuron model was used as a cell model and Hebbian learning rule was applied for synaptic connections. The results were evaluated on raster plots and firing rates and results which obtained with a similar work have been obtained nearly.
