Abstract

With the advancement of technology, electromagnetic environmental conditions have become influential in the operational performance of devices. Consequently, in the context of communication and information security, military standards have evolved to implement more stringent measures for electromagnetic conditions. Specifically, for shielded enclosures in military communication facilities, ensuring compliance with performance criteria such as MIL-PRF-32675 and NATO 6516/SHCPE/86-88 has become a significant engineering challenge. This study addresses the optimization of shielding effectiveness for ventilation panels, which are required in enclosed spaces and contribute to a reduction in shielding performance. The optimization was conducted using root solutions and various algorithms based on panel geometry, aiming to achieve maximum air flow while meeting the desired minimum shielding effectiveness values. The optimization results were simulated using the CST Studio Suite program, validating both the optimization process and panel design. The findings and additional considerations for further development are presented in the results section.
