abstract = "In this paper, space-time trellis codes are designed using asymmetric 4PSK modulations. By this way, it is shown that determinant and/or trace values of space-time trellis codes can be increased. The error performances of the new codes are investigated by computer simulations over quasi-static Rayleigh fading channels and it is shown that the proposed codes improve the performance with respect to the conventional space-time 4PSK trellis codes given in the literature.",
