Abstract

The increasing need for energy in the world brings the necessity for efficient use of resources. Energy efficiency can be examined under three headings; efficiency in energy production, distribution, and consumption. In particular, the prevention of losses in energy consumption is directly related to the habits of the users. It can be predicted that researching the current level of energy-consuming activities, determining the activities that can increase energy saving, and taking and implementing the necessary measures in these areas will greatly reduce the energy need. This study examines studies focusing on the impact of consumer habits on energy saving. Namely, energy consumption habits, energy control mechanisms, and building energy efficiency applications, which have an important dimension in end-user energy consumption, are examined in order to develop energy-saving policies for the end user. The study also examines artificial intelligence applications in energy-saving literature.
