Abstract
In this paper, we use He's max-min approach for obtaining a periodic solution of generalized nonlinear discontinuity equation. Although the method is quite simple, it is very efficient in the solution of a nonlinear oscillator. The solutions obtained using the approach presented here are then compared to those found in the literature and they are found to agree well with each other.
