Abstract

In order to satisfy CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization) SIL3 standards in a railway signalization system diverse programming is highly recommended. To implement these diversely programmed interlocking mechanisms to a railway signalization system, a main controller is needed. In this study, the benefits and the development stages of a main controller is explained.
