Abstract

This paper presented the power transfer system that can be used in many applications in oil industry such as Cathodic protection system and to eliminate the uses of cable to avoid lost connection and to make sure that the system is correctly working. The research is taking the type of power transfer system and shows how to work and how to transfer power wirelessly. It can be controlled from anywhere, any time and adjust the ratio of charging and operating it or off. Corrosion is a process of circulating electrical currents that cause decomposition of a metal interface by reacting with the surroundings. Detected in underground and buried soil, Electrical currents flowing into the Earth its intensely influenced. There are Several methods related to protection like anodes or more urbane systems, that generate a metal structure with negative charge to be protected. Power systems are conducted with the corrosion phenomenon. The Underground electrical cables can be protected by supplying the lost currents in soil. This study presents how to supply the Cathodic protection design with power in a way that make it work for high voltage in undersea applications.
