Abstract

This paper presents the analog filters for the receive chain of the magnetic particle imaging (MPI) scanner. Direct feedthrough interference between drive and receive coil was evaluated with three analog filters. LTspice® simulation tool was used to design and simulate analog filters at 10 kHz. Maximum attenuation of-80 dB was achieved with the 7th order Chebyshev filter. As a result of the higher-order filter, the direct feedthrough effect was also minimized. The signal-To-noise ratio (SNR) would also be improved with a good receive section of the MPI scanner.
