Abstract

This paper aims to determine the effect of a DC offset cancellation circuit (DCOC) on the performance of an amplifier subject to aging. The method has an on-off function to observe the aging amplifier with and without the offset cancellation circuit. The proposed fully differential amplifier is designed in low power TSMC 40 nm CMOS technology using a supply voltage of 1.1 V. Post-layout simulation results show that the DCOC has an offset suppression around 21 dB when it is activated, and this set-up can be used to observe the mismatch on an aging amplifier.
