Abstract

The motion analysis of the aircraft is important in avoiding situations that may affect the flight safety, as well as ensuring the continuity of the safe flight of the aircraft. We can analyze the movement of the aircraft and flight dynamics in two situations, longitudinal movement, and lateral movement, including vertical movement. In this study, the motion of the aircraft, given the initial conditions, is investigated by estimating the state vectors by means of the Kalman Filter (KF) and the Adaptive Kalman Filters (AKF) besides a comparison between estimation methods has been made.
