Abstract
Eco-friendly and economical energy production gains importance every day in the world due to overpopulation and quickly developing industry. Because renewable energy reduces poverty and leads to sustainable development, recently many countries have started to use renewable energy. Reduction in the reserves of nonrenewable energy sources and the role of these resources in climate change is another reason for the increasing importance of renewable energy (Pehnt, 2006). Concordantly, biogas (produced by processing various renewable energy sources) has an spatial role in the succession of fossil fuels, which cause the increase of greenhouse gases emissions, global warming, and climate change effects, in power and heat production. Alternatives like biomass, solar, geothermal, and hydraulic resources can be considered potential renewable energy sources (Hosseini and Wahid, 2016).
