Abstract
The problems that occur with the ineffective use of resources in an enterprise and the bottlenecks in the warehouse lines reduce quality and productivity, and negatively affect customer satisfaction. The aim of this study is to identify these problems existing in the system using ARENA simulation and to examine the bottlenecks, the factors that reduce efficiency with the obtained data. In this context, a time study is carried out for each department in the warehouse in order to see the whole process and to determine the source of the problem by making necessary visits to the enterprise. By using data obtained, scenario analyzes are carried out with the help of statistical distributions by using the process map ARENA simulation program, which is applied during the implementation phase. Furthermore, the second aim of the study is to examine each scenario and identify the scenario with possible output and the bottleneck experienced by the business. Based on these outputs, a new system proposal is presented at the final stage of the study.
