Abstract

The aim of this work is to design a planar frequency selective absorber for 2-7 GHz frequencies. Many military and indoor communication technologies are defined in these frequencies. Absorption frequency behavior is achieved by using lossy periodic conducting geometries over a conducting sheet in the proposed design. A thinner and having a more bandwidth design is achieved comparing with Salisbury absorber. The performance of this absorber is maintained over a wide incidence angles (0-45 degrees) and for both TE and TM polarizations.
