Abstract

This study provides an overview of the use of the multidimensional assignment (MDA) algorithm in the context of multi-sensor multi-target tracking. Simulations based on Lagrangian relaxations, linear programming relaxations, and 2-D heuristic approaches are shown; numerical comparisons are made for several s dimensional (s-D) examples, where s > 2. Computational time performance issues are highlighted.
