Abstract
We propose a novel photonics solution for MRI data transmission in the optical domain. The system leverages CMOS-compatible silicon photonics, directional couplers, Bragg gratings, and MEMS-based optical modulators to achieve ultra-compact, safe, and electromagnetic interference-free MRI data communication. Initial simulation results reveal that this approach can transmit 4-bit digital data with an optical bandwidth of 20 nm.
