Abstract

Project scheduling is a vital topic for shipbuilding industry. For a regular production process a realistic plan is needed. When prepared scheduling is away from actual conditions and inconvenient, it is so difficult to follow it. Thus, production process proceeds on its own and controlling the work becomes impossible. Instead of a best solution an optimum solution is advised because finding the best solution is often hard, time consuming and expensive. In this study a dynamic scheduling model is proposed to acquire an optimum production plan for shipbuilding. Actual performance inclusion into the production scheduling procedure is provided in the cause of reflecting real production environment conditions. Therefore, it is expected that a more realistic schedule can be obtained with the model presented in this paper.
