Abstract

In the recent years, other than conventional energy recovery systems for example cogeneration system, more feasible, economic and low investment systems have been studied. One of these systems deals with utilization of low exhaust gas waste heat. For this application there is a large literature on utilization of Organic Rankine Cycle energy recovery system, recently. The energy saving and sustainability is more important research activities in the world recently because of increasing the global warming. Therefore, a new concept have been developed for energy saving utilized waste heat namely Organic Rankine Cycle. In recently for a given better performance to recover low grade waste heat is proposed the organic Rankine Cycle. There are several advantages for example economical utilization of energy resources, small system applications and environmental impacts In this paper, energy saving and power solution of such a system which is theoretically designed for a container ship marine power plant was examined. For this pupose, some performance analysis criterion have been used to analysis of marine power plant in a container ship and some results have been discussed.
