Abstract

The Muon (g-2) Experiment (E821) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) started data taking in 1997. The latest result aµ+ = 11659202(14)(6) × 10-10, based on statistics of about 1 billion decays collected in 1999, is in good agreement with the previous measurement. With the precision of 1.3 ppm, the result, compared with the Standard Model evaluation aµ(SM) = 11659159.6(6.7)×
