Abstract

A new global hybrid optimization strategy, involving the combination of simulated annealing and Hooke-Jeeves algorithms has been developed and applied to the synthesis of parabolic tapered line impedance matching section. The method is broadly appropriate for the synthesis of any kind nonuniform impedance matching line section and other microwave circuits.
