Abstract

In the concept of the Cellular Automata with Memory, new state of a cell relies on not only current states of the neighbour cells but also past states of the neighbour cells. In this paper, a new model for Cellular Automata with Memory is proposed. Here the proposed Cellular Automata with Memory is introduced for a random number generator. Therefore the randomness of the model is analysed by measuring entropy. Furthermore, an FPGA implementation of the proposed Cellular Automata with Memory has been given.
