Abstract

Hesitant fuzzy sets have been developed to handle the situations where a set of values are possible in the definition process of the membership of an element. Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets provide a linguistic and computational basis to increase the richness of linguistic elicitation based on the fuzzy linguistic approach and the use of context-free grammars by using comparative terms. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical multicriteria method based on hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets and apply it to a supplier selection problem.
