Abstract

A modified Linear Sampling Method (LSM) is presented to detect buried object in layered medium. Cauchy Data is exploited to reformulate conventional LSM method in terms of homogeneous Green's function instead of the layered medium Green's function. As a resul, a modified LSM can be effectively applied to detect the object buried in non-smooth layered medium. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the method.
