A Guide Application in Case of Emergency Health: A Case of Turkey

Abstract

Health constitutes power and the societies who track developments in health sector hold power. The developed countries such as Canada lead the field and developing countries such Turkey follows them. The problems in Turkey healthcare system is getting be solved year by year but there are still shortcomings in established system like insufficient precautions for decreasing unreliable emergency callings and unnecessary intensity in emergency departments. This study took inspiration from Telehealth which is a component of Canadian healthcare system and focuses on reducing the rate of unreliable callings to 112 and intensity in emergency departments by designing a mobile health application for heart attack situation. In this study, it is aimed to design an application named as Docto’Ring’ with giving information of how to use the application and how the emergency situation was determined which enables to call ambulances with appeared button. Besides, the user interface was prepared in detail. The testing process was done only by government due to the laws about health constraints.
