Abstract

The genetic-based synthesis approach to the composite right/left-handed transmission line phase shifter is presented. Continuous parameter genetic algorithm is used for the synthesis. Examples for a uniform transmission line (UTL) phase shifter and a uniform composite right/left-handed transmission line (UCRLHTL) phase shifter are given.
