N2 - A growing problem of the supply chain, the bullwhip effect is studied in this paper. In order to develop effective strategies to mitigate the bullwhip effect, we need to understand the factors that cause it and the interactions among them. This paper uses Fuzzy Cognitive Map to analyze the interaction among the causes of the bullwhip effect and determines the leading factors that are the root causes of this problem.
