Abstract

Multi attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem with heterogeneous information has been a challenging research topic in recent years. In this study, a decision support model that simultaneously addresses the heterogeneous information and consensus process is developed. The developed group decision support software (GDSS) is based on the cumulative belief degree (CBD) approach. The CBD approach aims to deal with heterogeneous information in MAGDM problems. In the approach, decision makers can express their opinions by using different formats of information. Eventually, a decision support software is presented for improving the effectiveness of the group decision making process under heterogeneous information. An illustrative example is presented for demonstrating the applicability and practicality of the developed software.
