Abstract

2,2′-Biperimidine and perimidine-2-formaldoxime have been prepared by an one-pot reaction of E,E-dichloroglyoxime or anti-monochloroglyoxime with 1,8-diaminonaphthalene. Metal complexes of 2,2′-biperimidine are also described.
