Abstract
This study presents comprehensive design and implementation of a Ka band differential phase shift circulator. Produced differential phase shift circulator includes a magic-tee, a quadrature hybrid coupler and a ferrite non-reciprocal phase shifter. The microwave passive elements that make up the circulator were designed separately and then combined to reveal the circulator design. Simulations are achieved in CST design environment. Simulation results are compared with measurement results. The design and production of a circulator with a minimum insertion loss of 0.5 dB and a maximum return loss and isolation value of 20 dB in the 33–36 GHz range have been carried out.
